I was approached by a local angling and tackle shop owner who already had an online ecommerce presense but it was not delivering the results that he had hoped for.

The problem

Richard had a basic online store running on one of the major eCommerce platform providers but it had a very rudimentary design that had not been optimised for sales conversions and the website itself was not receiving very much monthly traffic. The Solution

First things first, I conducted a full and extensive assessment of the current situation in terms of what was working and what needed improved. With a limited budget it was clear we would stay with the current platform (which ticked the majority of his boxes in terms of functionality/features) but would put in place a bespoke, contemporary and effective design that would not only give shoppers the confidience required to conduct their online shopping at his store but would also improve security, speed and SEO of the website. In addition I implemented a whole series of improvements to his systems and helped put in place a number of additonal optimisations, think; referral system, reviews process, improved contact protocols to name a few. I also set up an extensive google PPC campaign which continues to drive traffic to the website topping up the constantly improving organic search results

The Result

The monthly traffic, conversion rate, orders and revenue has continued to grow year on year. Richard his seen a 300% increase in revenue since we started working together
